Unknown regions have attracted people throughout the ages. Columbus discovered America in the late 1400, Amundsen reached the South Pole in the early 1900s and Hillary climbed Everest in 1950. Although they have traveled the globe criss-cross over the centuries, unexplored regions still remain.
